We knew this would not be an easy transition. The key to success was RPM's ability to manage all aspects of the process, adapt to changing requirements, solve problems quickly and keep the process moving.

RPM’s lifecycle engagement process is a proven approach to technology strategy development and implementation that is grounded in industry best practices and methodologies. It delivers much more than a technology-centric, reactive approach to your IT needs. Rather, it offers proactive solutions to help you better manage, monitor and enhance your infrastructure and processes and build a solid foundation for ongoing business growth.
Phase 1: Assess & Discover
We begin each client engagement by not just looking at your immediate technology needs or obvious gaps. We conduct an in-depth technology and business analysis to ensure that we fully understand your short-term and long-term goals; existing processes, technologies and architecture; regulatory constraints; security issues and available resources and budget.
Phase 2: Plan & Design
Next, we develop a strategic plan that defines the technologies, services and processes we’ll bring together to help you achieve your goals. We assess available technology options, weigh associated costs and benefits and work closely with you to develop a plan that balances your resources, budget and objectives.
Then, we transform the plan into a technical roadmap. Our engineers and project managers develop design specifications and functional requirements as well as contingency plans to ensure that your implementation will run smoothly if roadblocks are encountered along the way.
Phase 3: Build & Deploy
After specifications and designs have been approved, we build and deploy your infrastructure. Our project manager will work closely with you throughout this phase to ensure that there are no schedule or budget surprises. This phase includes thorough testing and validation to ensure that all systems are operating according to design specifications and compliance standards. We also develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and validation documentation, as necessary. Once all systems are fully operational, we manage the cut-over to your new infrastructure. During this phase, we will do whatever is necessary to eliminate down-time and ensure that your transition runs smoothly and on-schedule.
Phase 4: Manage & Measure
We don’t just set up your systems and walk away. RPM offers a variety of ongoing maintenance and management options in which we can either take complete responsibility for your infrastructure or support your existing IT staff. To ensure your ongoing success, we can monitor, measure and analyze your systems to ensure that your infrastructure and services continue to meet the end goals of efficiency, accessibility, security and scalability. We use the data gathered during this phase to plan future enhancements.
